With the title Silhouettes espagnoles, in 1933 the journalist René Puaux published a series of biographies of Spanish artists and musicians in Le Temps. They revealed a lot about his time in Paris. In this study, the biographies of the artists Xavier Gosé, Oleguer Junyent, Santiago Rusiñol and Ignacio Zuloaga are transcribed and Puaux’s biography is incorporated, as well as evaluations of Puaux’s text and of his connection with the other artists.
