  • Emblecat
    Vol. 1 No. 12 (2023)

In this issue you will find four investigations from the Catalan area that address topics that have not been studied until now or shed light on little-known aspects, which provide relevant information for future research. On the other hand, and continuing with the links established a few years ago with Latin America, we must highlight the presence in the magazine of two interesting articles on the history of the art of Argentina that bring us closer to the knowledge of the artistic panorama of this country , also in the 20th century. Finally, the articles are completed by a work on activist practices in contemporary Valencia and another that collects journalistic texts published in France in 1930 about relevant Spanish musicians, the second part of the one published in the magazine in 2022.

The issue opens, in the Presentations section, with an interesting reflection on the profession of the head of the Cabinet of Drawings and Engravings of the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, and closes with a report on the English artist Lesley Yendell, who died in year 2020, and an enlightening and interesting text about the commemoration of the Year of Domènech and Montaner this 2023, both in the Reviews section.
